WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed his Saturday NAP and ONLY BET with Morning Run (NAP) WON 4/5 in the Solerina Mares Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse. He is now 4 FROM 4 on his weekend bets for the last two weeks.
Morning Run remained unbeaten and capitalised on a mistake from stable companion Lyrical Theatre (who I rated the danger) to win the Solerina Mares Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse yesterday.
That now makes it 4 FROM 4 WINNING BETS over the last two weekends. Hopefully we can keep the unbeaten record going today.
The I.N.H. Stallion Owners E.B.F. Novice Hurdle (Listed) looks an interesting race on the Punchestown card at 2.40.
Willie Mullins has two, but I think the Ruby Walsh ridden Avant Tous may have to give second best to the Giggingstown runner Aminabad with Cooper onboard.
Avant Tous made a winning debut at Tramore but was gifted a 15 length win when Utmost Zeal (who was in second) fell at the last and that runner has gone on to be well beaten subsequently.
Aminabad won a Listed race on the flat and made a successful transition to hurdles when winning at Wexford on debut. The form of that race is working out well.
In the days feature, the Tied Cottage Chase, I fancy Hidden Cyclone to reverse Leopardstown form with Twinlight but not strongly enough at current prices to have a bet.
