FAIRYHOUSE NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Fairyhouse for his best bet of the day in the opening maiden hurdle as he hopes to follow up Friday’s winning nap.

Yesterday’s NAP (and only bet) Hit It A Bomb won the Listed Star Appeal Stakes at Dundalk last night in grand style. The SP was a lot shorter (4/9) than expected but he clearly looks a good horse and he might well be Breeders’ Cup bound after his four and a half length success.

Aidan O’Brien’s focus today will be on the Dubai Dewhurst Stakes where Air Force Blue is the odds-on favourite in a race billed as match with the Godolphin unbeaten runner Emotionless. The other Irish raider is the Jim Bolger trained Sanus Per Aquam who looks a little over-priced but it’s not a great each-way race with just the seven runners and the two prominent juveniles in the betting.

Air Force Blue has only been beaten once, that was by Buratino in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot but since then has run out an impressive winner of two Group 1’s at the Curragh. His chance is quite obvious on the form book but this is a race I want to be watching and not betting on.

For the nap, I am siding with Indian Court in the opening Jumps Racing Returns To Fairyhouse Maiden Hurdle at 2.20. He has shown promising form in two bumpers and is preferred to current BETDAQ favourite John Monash who may require more give in the ground.

Indian Court is trading between 3.2 and 3.8 at the time of writing. Try making an offer (Say 3.7) and if it gets accepted you’ll be on at better odds and pay just 2% COMMISSION.
