SHAMROCK’S NAVAN NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Navan on Saturday for his nap in the opening race at 1.50pm.

Yesterday’s NAP, The Yellow Bus, was beaten half a length at Dundalk last night at 9/4 🙁

There’s racing from Navan on Saturday in Ireland with a seven race jumps card getting under way at 1.50pm.

The opening Troytown Bar Maiden Hurdle at 1.50 is big on quantity but less so on quality. So much so that the Enda Bolger trained Ballyoisin stands out as the best bet of the day in the 21 runner field.

Ballyoisin was an easy winner between the flags and made a promising rules debut at Punchestown when third to Limini in a big field maiden hurdle. The runner-up in that race, Sandymount Duke, went on to win his next four races !!

The Tony Martin trained Okotoks won a bumper at Down Royal last time out and also ran well on his only previous start over hurdles. He looks a big danger.

Mighty Concorde ran well on his jumping debut at Killarney and should place here but might not be in the same league as the selection and nap Ballyoisin.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Ballyoisin (1.50 Navan)
