TRAMORE NAP: SHAMROCK’s nap runs in the maiden at Tramore tonight. The John Oxx trained Prince Charmin’ looks the answer.

Frustratingly the nap Foxearth was a non runner at Tramore last night. Even more so given the Willie Mullins trained hotpot Blue Epona could only finish third at 2/5 but we’ll never know.

Tramore continues with a late afternoon card starting at 4.05pm with seven races on the flat.

Prince Charmin’ looks the best bet on the card for trainer John Oxx in the 1m 2f maiden at 5.15.

He ran his best race to date when stepped up to this trip at the Curragh last time and certainly better than his 50/1 starting price indicated he might when fifth to Twilight Payment.

The form of that race is working out nicely with two subsequent winners from horses that finished in front of Prince Charmin’.

Dermot Weld’s Propriano hasn’t shown much in three starts and is tried with a visor for the first time. He might chase the selection home.

NAP: Prince Charmin’ (5.15 Tramore)
