SHAMROCK’S LANDS A 5/1 WINNING NAP: A great pre-Christmas treat from SHAMROCK on Saturday when his NAP and ONLY BET of the day THUNDER ZONE WON AT 5/1.

A 5/1 WINNING NAP on Saturday with Thunder Zone winning at Fairyhouse and (for once) I was right to take on the Willie Mullins trained hotpot – his Uradel could only finish fourth at odds-on.
Thurles stage the final race meeting before the Christmas break and hopefully I can follow-up yesterday’s success.
Despite there being only four runners in the Exit 6 To The Horse & Jockey Rated Novice Hurdle at 2.20 it still looks quite a competitive affair.
My preference is for Kauto Grand Mogol who does have winning bumper form in heavy ground and was also an easy winner over hurdles at Limerick on his hurdling debut.
He struggled when upped in grade to contest the Monksfield at Navan (a Grade 2) but was by no means disgraced in fourth and back at this level can go in again.
