EAGLE POISED FOR TAKE OFF: The eagerly awaited jumping debut of Open Eagle could take place later this month.

Open Eagle, who stormed home by 12 lengths in the November Handicap at Doncaster when last seen out, could make his jumping debut later this month.

Supreme racing manager Steve Massey said: “I was very impressed with Open Eagle when I saw him on the gallops the other day.

“He has schooled well and looks a natural.

“It seems that the plan is to take him to the Curragh next week for a proper schooling session, then to run him towards the end of the month.
