I’m looking to sign off 2014 with a winner and continue the run of naps into 2015.
There’s no safer man to rely on than Willie Mullins and he can hopefully win the maiden hurdle with Petite Parisienne.
She is making her hurdling debut and follows the well-trodden path for the stable of coming over from France.
She did have winning form on the flat in France and was good enough to be placed in Listed company so could easily be good enough to go in first time and start repaying her purchase fee of €135,000.
Despite the big field it doesn’t look that competitive however the presence of the Dermot Weld trained Zafayan will ensure the price on the selection holds up.
Zafayan is also making a jumping debut but showed enough on the flat (including a win at Naas) to suggest he could be a big player here.
