PREMIER LEAGUE: The Striker previews MANCHESTER UNITED V WOLVES and LEICESTER V LIVERPOOL with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
MANCHESTER UNITED V WOLVES
2pm We have an excellent Super Sunday from the Premier League on Betdaq Betting Exchange! We kick off the day with three games kicking off at 2pm, and the most interesting market in my opinion is Manchester United hosting Wolves – especially after Ruben Amorim’s comments after the dramatic Europa League game on Thursday. You won’t get much more drama than leading 2-0, going 4-2 behind in extra time and then winning it in stoppage time at the end of extra time. Absolutely incredible scenes! After the game, Amorim said he felt his players were tired and said he’d have to focus on the Europa League going forward given they are in the Semi-Final and have nothing to achieve in the Premier League. In fairness, the Premier League has been like that for a while for United! We have a reasonably open market; Manchester United come into the game as the favourites at 2.38 with Wolves 3.35 and the draw is 3.4 at the time of writing. Obviously the shrewd opinion here is to keep an eye on the team news after Amorim’s comments – it’s going to be a case of fastest fingers first.
Wolves have been quite average this season, and usually they would be a bigger price to win at Old Trafford. Although United have been exceptionally poor at home this season – they’ve been much better away from home under Amorim. Wolves did flirt with a relegation battle, but they are on a very strong run now – they were unbeaten in five Premier League games. I know a lot of sides have beaten Spurs this week, but Wolves must have got a confidence boost from the 4-2 win over Spurs last weekend. I really wouldn’t be rushing to take the 2.38 on United here – they have been poor at home this season, Wolves are on a good run at the moment and you also have the possibility of Amorim resting players. He said he might have to rely on the kids, and they did look very tired on Thursday night. Another option is Over 2.5 goals at 2.06 which looks very big considering how open United games have been – we have two pretty poor sides at the back here to be honest. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest, but the United lay offers the most value given the situation.
The Striker Says: Two points lay (liability) Manchester United to beat Wolves at 2.38 with Betdaq Exchange.

LEICESTER V LIVERPOOL
4.30pm We finish Super Sunday with Leicester hosting Liverpool as Arne Slot’s men tick down the games to becoming Champions again. Surely even the most positive Arsenal fan has given up hope now – in fairness the writing has been on the wall for weeks. As you would expect, Liverpool come into the game as the red-hot favourites at 1.24 with Leicester 15.0 and the draw is 7.6 at the time of writing. Given how poor Leicester have been this season – they’ve been well short of Premier League standard – it’s extremely difficult to see past a Liverpool win here. I feel this is a case of how many goals can Liverpool score rather than will they win – with Liverpool so short in the match odds market, we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value. Leicester finally broke their losing run last weekend with a 2-2 draw away to Brighton, probably highlighting how sloppy Brighton have been at the back this season rather than anything else – that broke a run of eight straight losses which would have had morale at an all-time low. Obviously Leicester are nailed on to go down now, but the stats make for some poor reading.
They have the worst attacking figure in the Premier League this season with an average xG created of 1.11. They are also in the bottom three on defensive figures with an average xG conceded of 1.84. Having that figure at the back against Liverpool spells trouble – they have been exceptional this season and have the best attacking figure. Liverpool are trading 1.66 to cover a 1.5 goal handicap and 2.62 to cover a 2.5 goal handicap. We had an entertaining 3-1 win for Liverpool at Anfield – Leicester took an early lead and Liverpool dominated the game after that. The 2.5 handicap might be a bit of stretch here, so I’m happy to take the 1.66 on Liverpool to cover the 1.5 goal handicap. Given the volume of chances Liverpool are creating and Leicester are conceding, I’m expecting a comfortable win for Liverpool to finish Sunday.
The Striker Says: Two points win Liverpool -1.5 goals to beat Leicester at 1.66 with Betdaq Exchange.
