🏆 World Cup 2026 🏆

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland v Morocco 🇲🇦

11pm The Tartan Army is back on WORLD CUP 2026 Betdaq Betting Exchange! as Scotland and Morocco meet at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Friday – the same venue where McGinn’s deflected strike sent travelling Scots delirious just six days ago. The atmosphere was immense; the Flower Of Scotland went viral all over social media. Scotland needed to win that game against Haiti to have any chance of getting out of Group C. They’ve ticked that box, but now they have the difficult fixtures against Morocco and Brazil. Morocco also had an excellent Matchday one holding Brazil to a 1-1 draw in New York was a genuine achievement, but Walid Regragui’s men will feel they could and should have won it given Brazil were lacklustre. This should be an intriguing game.

We have an interesting market; Morocco come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.76 with Scotland 5.8 and the draw is 3.75 at the time of writing. An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 Tartan Army descended on Boston for their country’s return to football’s biggest stage, creating an atmosphere that was absolutely superb. They will be here in numbers again, and that’s obviously a big boost for Scotland. Morocco looked good against Brazil though; obviously a lot was made about Brazil being poor and all the egos in the dressing room, but Morocco finished the game with a higher xG figure. They dominated the opening half hour; they had 12 shots in the first 30 minutes and it took something special from Vini Jr to break the momentum.

This is the pivotal game in Group C. Both sides know a win here likely means a top two finish is theirs to control, while a draw keeps things complicated heading into the final round. Scotland’s backline will need to be sharper than they were against Haiti, but the 1.76 doesn’t exactly jump off the page as good value on Morocco even with the Brazil performance. Scotland have been improving for years now, and as we said coming into the World Cup they do have a once in a generation squad. Scotland won’t come here to park the bus; but at the same time, it’s hard to see them being too adventurous given a draw puts them in a decent position – surely four points gets you into one of the those eight third-placed finishes.

WORLD CUP 2026 Betdaq Betting Exchange!

Morocco are clearly the better side on paper but I do feel the 1.76 is a little short. I expect the game to be closer than those odds reflect, and I’m happy to sit out of the match odds market. The crowd will be extraordinary again for Scotland, but I do feel we’re going to see a reasonably cagey game here. Scotland know the blue-print for a disciplined, compact display, and they have held many a side bigger than them. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.72 and that looks a very nice option here. I really wouldn’t be surprised to see Scotland pull off a draw and get a result, but I’m happy to be on Unders.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.72 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
