WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: The Ultra previews WALES V LIECHTENSTEIN with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
WALES V LIECHTENSTEIN
7.45pm While all eyes might be on the Nations League during this International Break on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE, we also have some World Cup Qualifiers to enjoy! We start on Friday night as the Nations League has a little break between the Semi-Finals and the Final. Wales host Liechtenstein in Group J and they will be fully expected to win here. Anything bar a comfortable home win would be a massive shock given the gulf in class between the sides. Indeed, the market is exceptionally confident on a Wales victory here – the home win is trading as short as 1.04 with Liechtenstein
The World Cup Qualifiers have been a bit strange this season given we’ve had the Nations League schedule too. In that last International Break, we had the Nations League Quarter-Finals and because they were two legged affairs, the top sides haven’t played a World Cup Qualifier yet. Those in the Semi-Finals this week will be even further behind! In Group J here – Belgium haven’t played yet; it’s fair to say that they’ll be expected to top this Group and then the race is on for second. As things stand, North Macedonia are top level on points with Wales after the sides won their opening game and then drew, Kazakhstan have three points.
Wales had a very dramatic 1-1 draw away to North Macedonia last time out; both goals came in stoppage time with North Macedonia scoring in the 91st minute. That looked the winner but Wales got out of jail in the 96th minute! Liechtenstein have kept their score lines reasonably respectable; losing 3-0 and 2-0, but now away from home the wheels might come off if Wales score first. As I said above, the gulf in class between the sides is massive here – Liechtenstein play their football in a D Group in the Nations League; they finished bottom of a Group with San Marino and Gibraltar last time out. That’s the level we’re dealing with here!
With Wales trading as short as 1.04, it goes without saying that we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value here. This one is going to be about how many goals Wales score rather than will they actually win. It’s fair to say that the market is expecting one way traffic here – Over 2.5 goals is as short as 1.22 but Both Teams Not To Score is 1.34! This is definitely a game for small stakes given the prices and the gulf in class between the sides. I expect a very comfortable win for Wales, and they’re trading 1.6 -3 goals on the Asian Handicap – that looks a nice position with stakes void if they win by exactly 3 goals.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Wales -3 goals Asian Handicap to beat Liechtenstein at 1.6 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
