SATURDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews BARCELONA V CELTA VIGO from La Liga and ROMA V VERONA from Serie A both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BARCELONA V CELTA VIGO
3.15pm We have another cracking Saturday from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange! We have action from La Liga and Serie A with Barcelona and Roma in must win games at home. We kick off the day in La Liga with Barcelona hosting Celta Vigo. Barcelona come into this weekend with a nice four point cushion on Real Madrid with the games ticking down – they can’t afford any slip-ups at this stage of the season with Real giving them the advantage losing at home to Valencia recently. We’re going to have a huge El Classico towards the end of the season but that will be in the Copa del Rey! We’re Barcelona still involved in the business end of the Champions League, it would be nice to have a little cushion heading into the final run-in. This is a game that they will be fully expected to win, but Celta Vigo have been having a good season. They come into the weekend sitting seventh, which is a superb improvement considering they weren’t far away from being involved in a relegation battle last season before a very strong finish to pull away. It’s a sign of how strong Barcelona have been this season that they come into the game as the red-hot favourites.
Barcelona are trading 1.32 with Celta Vigo 10.0 and the draw is 6.6 at the time of writing. Barcelona were involved in the Champions League midweek, losing away to Dortmund but all the work was done in the first leg which they won 4-0. This week was just a case of getting through without any drama. It’s hard to knock Barcelona at the top of the table – they have the best attacking figure and the best defensive figure. They are the only side with an average xG conceded under 1.0 this season and an attacking figure of 1.38 from Celta Vigo will hardly worry them. Celta Vigo have been strong at the back themselves though – they are in the top five defensive figures and could make this harder work for Barcelona than the market suggests – it’s hard to make an argument that Barcelona should be massively shorter than their current 1.33. Obviously Barcelona have so much attacking talent they could blow any side away, so I am going to keep stakes low here; however Under 2.5 goals is a nice bet in my opinion at 3.4. I was very surprised to see it trading so high when I clicked into the market – you could also go Under 3.5 goals, but I’m going to take a chance at the bigger price. Celta can keep the score line respectable here.
The Ultra Says: One point win Under 2.5 goals at 3.4 with Betdaq Exchange.

ROMA V VERONA
7.45pm We move over to Serie A to finish Saturday as Roma host Verona. While the above game was a must win game for Barcelona to keep their advantage in the title race, this is a must win game for Roma to hold onto a chance at a European finish. They come into the weekend sitting in seventh, but they are only three points behind Bologna in fifth and five behind Juventus in fourth. Champions League is off the cards, but obviously Europa League has to be the aim from here. They have had back-to-back draws but they have had a very difficult fixture list t home to Juventus and then away to Lazio. Roma have an extremely difficult run-in too so it’s highly likely they miss out on European football next season. They still have to play Inter Milan, Fiorentina, Atalanta and AC Milan! They is an absolutely must win game before they head into that run of games, especially considering Verona have been quite average this season. Roma are trading 1.42 with Verona 11.0 and the draw is 4.7 at the time of writing. When the sides met earlier in the season, we had a very entertaining 3-2 win for Verona.
That was at a time when Roma were really struggling though. They sacked their manager early and then it took Claudio Ranieri a while to get a handle on things. Verona have been exceptionally limited going forward this season; they have the third worst attacking figure in Serie A with an average xG created of just 1.13. They aren’t even converting those chances either because they are scoring less than a goal a game. It’s hard to see past a Roma victory here; granted there’s no prizes for tipping 1.42 shots. I do feel that Roma can keep a clean sheet on the way to winning here though, Both Teams Not To Score is trading 1.64 and Under 2.5 goals is 1.87. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest, but I do like the Both Teams Not To Score option more at 1.64. Roma have been quite solid at the back lately – they kept three clean sheets in a row in Serie A prior to the two 1-1 draws against Juventus and Lazio – they can keep another clean sheet here.
The Ultra Says: Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.64 with Betdaq Exchange.
