CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL: The Ultra previews PSG v ARSENAL with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm The eyes of the footballing world will turn to Paris on Wednesday night as PSG host Arsenal in the second leg of their Champions League Semi-Final on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE. Arsenal have it all to do here after losing the first leg 1-0 at home, and now they need some magic to upset the odds in Paris. PSG have been exceptional lately; even when they were very unlucky to lose the first leg at home to Liverpool, they went to Anfield and got the job done. Arsenal need to be at their level here; the big question is have they got that in them?
As you would expect given home advantage, PSG come into the game as the favourites at 2.18 with Arsenal 3.5 and the draw is 3.8 at the time of writing. We had a reasonably even first leg in London; PSG took an early lead and defended it well. It’s not like they battered Arsenal and looked at a different level, but they handled the situation very well from a point of view that they were away from home in a first leg. PSG absolutely battered Liverpool when they came here, no one has done that to Liverpool all season – OK they got exceptionally unlucky with the result but still.
Arsenal have mainly focused on being solid at the back this season. That has got Arteta some criticism saying he is turning into Jose Mourinho with a 1-0 lead. Their average xG created has dropped this season, but they do have the best defensive figure in the Premier League. Obviously that will help them here, but they are going to have to out-gun this PSG side rather than just defend well. PSG have exceptionally good under-lining numbers but anything else would be a shock given the gulf in class between them and the rest of Ligue 1. They have had the luxury of having the title in the bag for weeks now.
It will be fascinating to see what type of game we have here. Arsenal will have to open things up and chase it at some stage. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.71 but I have to say I wouldn’t be rushing to take those odds. The second leg between PSG and Liverpool makes me want to stay away from that bet, and the Real Madrid v Arsenal second leg was a totally different situation. I actually don’t have a very strong opinion on the goals market here. I feel the best option by far is the PSG win at 2.18. I’d have them sub 2.1 – they have been superb this season and can get the job done in style here. The 2.18 is worth a confident bet in my opinion.
