BETDAQ’s greyhound expert TREVOR DUNNE aka TREVDAQ returns for the first time in 2013 tonight for the Sky live action from Hove (Channel 212). Trev’s pressing the lay button in the 21.56 race.
There’s a good card at Hove tonight featuring seven open races and if you are punting you will be backing a lot of them at short odds on Sky channel 212.
The banker of the night is trap 1 Your A Champ in the 19.46. He will be short but this classy local dog should complete an eight timer in style.
Other solid bets on the night include trap 4 Bridge Ruth in the 20.18. The Mark Wallis trained dog was impressive in her C&D win last week clocking 29.61. A repeat of that would be enough its a race packed full of early pace where she should just shade trap 2 Larrikin to the first bend.
In the 21.24 trap 5 Malbay Phanter looks a good thing having come back from injury and in the 22.11 trap 5 Ayamzabeauty should make all to win.
So plenty of short priced runners to get stuck into on BETDAQ.
However, one race tonight I want to be a layer in is the 21.56 and be against trap 4 Sidaz Dippy. I think he could be the meat in the sandwich with trap 3, moving mid to wide and possibly 5 and 6 doing him no favours.
Trap 1 is sure to get the trip on Irish form and ran well from a bad draw last week. He’s drawn better tonight and called Ballyhill Power in Ireland will be heading for The Puppy Derby in Monmore.
