LAZIO V JUVENTUS

5pm We have another cracking Saturday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have some top class action from Serie A and La Liga to enjoy with two very interesting markets. We kick off the action with the highlight of the day in my opinion as Lazio host Juventus in Serie A. This is a huge game for both sides – you only have to look at the table to see that! There’s a massive race on for that final Champions League spot in fourth, and you get the feeling it’s going to go down to the final day between Juventus, Roma, Lazio and Bologna. Roma have been finishing the season like a train with all the momentum – and these two sides will be watching how Bologna get on against AC Milan on Friday night. As things stand, there’s only one point between all four coming into this matchday with Lazio and Juventus both on 63 points. Both sides have obviously been playing good football this season, and we should have a high quality game here. It’s no surprise to see that we have an open betting heat – Lazio come into the game as the favourites with home advantage at 2.58 with Juventus 3.15 and the draw is 3.3 at the time of writing.

We’re at the stage of the season where a draw is no good for either side, but it’s hard to see past a very close game here. There’s very little between both sides when you look at their under-lining numbers; it’s no surprise to see they have the same amount of points! There’s only 0.06 between them on attacking figures and 0.07 between them on defensive figures. Lazio have improved a lot going forward this season; they really struggled to create good quality chances for a number of seasons but that hasn’t been the case this time. They have been marginally better in attack, while Juventus have been marginally better at the back. Juventus have been very difficult to beat this season – they had that long unbeaten run in the first half the season but they had far too many draws to stay in the title race. I know both sides need a win here in the race for Champions League football, but everything I look at here screams that this is going to be a very close game. I don’t think either side is going to throw away the game in search of a win too given how tight things are in the table. I’m happy to keep stakes small, but the draw easily makes the most appeal at 3.3.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.3 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ATLETICO MADRID V REAL SOCIEDAD

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Saturday from Europe as Atletico Madrid host Real Sociedad. This should be a good game to watch – unfortunately for Atletico Madrid they have drifted away from the title race in recent weeks. They sit safely in third however, and now they just need to finish off their season strongly but there’s no risk of them dropping out of the top four. I don’t think Deigo Simeone is a man to allow his players to be “on the beach” early as they say anyway! Real Sociedad have been having a really disappointing season, and they are in massive danger of missing out on a European spot. They come into this weekend sitting down in 11th, but they still have a chance a Europa League football – they might be down in 11th but they are only three points off Celta Vigo in 7th so hope is not lost. Obviously they are up against it – there’s a lot of sides between them and a Europa League spot too so they need other results to go their way. Basically they just need to win their final four games and hope other results go their way – the reality is though that is unlikely given the way they have been playing this season.

To be sitting in 11th flatters them to be honest, to even have a chance a European spot more so. They have been exceptionally limited in attacking this season – their average xG created of 1.23 is in the bottom five attacking figure in La Liga. They have kept their games very tight, and while they have been solid at the back it seems that has definitely come at a cost going forward. It’s not a surprise to see Atletico trading odds on. Atletico are 1.7 with Real Sociedad 6.0 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing. While Real Sociedad have been very poor this season, Atletico have also struggled to create good quality chances – before lumping on the home win at 1.7, Atletico’s average xG created this season is only 1.44 which isn’t high enough for a top club like them. Sociedad have focused on being strong at the back and cagey; those tactics could change as they enter must win games now, but I do feel Under 2.5 goals looks a nice bet at 1.86 here. We have two sides who are very solid at the back and haven’t been firing going forward – I’m happy to keep stakes small given we’re into the final stages of the season now but I’d have Unders trading shorter.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 1.86 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
