3.15pm The eyes of the footballing world turn to Barcelona on Sunday for the latest El Clasico on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! As things stand, Barcelona have a four point lead over Real Madrid – a win here would effectively end the title race while the plan for Real Madrid is obvious – win to make the gap one point and then see how Barcelona deal with the pressure. We always have plenty of drama in El Calsico, and this game should be no different.
Barcelona will need to pick themselves up after crashing out of the Champions League on Tuesday night. That was quite possibly the greatest Semi-Final of all time against Inter Milan, but Barcelona paid the price for being too open at the back. It was exceptionally entertaining though – what football should be! In fairness, to bounce back there’s no better fixture than El Calsico with the title on the line to pick themselves up for, especially with home advantage. Real Madrid came into this season as La Liga and Champions League Champions – they had just signed Mbappe too – for Barcelona to have a Copa del Rey in the bag and a four point lead in La Liga is a pretty excellent season.
I don’t think anyone could complaint about Barcelona being Champions in Spain this season. They have the best attacking figure and the best defensive figure. They are the only side with an average xG created over 2.0 and the only side with an average xG conceded under 1.0. They have title winning figures! Real Madrid have had a lot of issues at the back recently, and it’s hard to see them dealing with Barcelona going forward to be honest. We did have an exceptionally entertaining Copa del Rey Final between the sides recently, so hopefully we see more of the same drama here!
It’s no surprise to see Barcelona come into the game as the favourites with home advantage. Barcelona are trading 2.0 with Real Madrid 3.65 and the draw is 4.4 at the time of writing. The market is expecting an entertaining affair with Over 2.5 goals trading 1.37 and Both Teams To Score a few ticks bigger at 1.4. From those two bets, Both Teams To Score looks the he best value option but it’s hard to get away from the Barcelona back at 2.0 here. They have been much the better side this season, and we’ve seen the sides meet enough too. Barcelona hammered Real Madrid earlier in the season away from home, and they can effectively confirm the title win here. At 2.0, I’m happy with a Five Star NAP!
