SUNDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews REAL MADRID v CELTA VIGO and BOLOGNA v JUVENTUS both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
REAL MADRID V CELTA VIGO
1pm We have an intriguing Sunday from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have wo huge games from La Liga and Serie A with Real Madrid in action and a massive game over in Italy in the race for Champions League spots. We kick off the action in Madrid as Real host Celta Vigo. Real have a lot of work to do if they are going to win the title again this season – they come into the weekend four points behind Barcelona and it’s highly likely that they will be seven points behind by the time this fixture kicks off given Barcelona play Real Valladolid on Saturday night and they are rock bottom of the table. Real have to pick themselves up after losing the Copa del Rey Final in heart-breaking fashion last weekend; and they’re going to have another El Clasico very quickly given the top two meet next weekend. From a Real point of view, obviously they have a massive task ahead of them but they have to win that game away from home and then just see do Barcelona handle the pressure of only having a one point lead on the final run-in. Do get there though, they cannot afford to slip up here first.
Real have been conceding far too many sloppy goals lately, and that’s got them into difficult positions. Celta Vigo have been having an excellent season too – they come into the matchday weekend sitting in seventh spot and that’ll get them a Europa League spot if they can close it out. They have the eighth best attacking figure, but they have been conceding too many chances this season and that’s been their main issue. It’s not a surprise to see Real come into the game as the odds on favourites with home advantage. Real are trading 1.39 with Celta Vigo 8.0 and the draw is 6.2 at the time of writing. I wouldn’t be rushing to include Real in a weekend Acca at the prices to be honest – Celta have been pretty decent going forward. I do feel that the game will be closer than the odds suggest here, but I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market. I feel Celta can get on the score sheet at some stage in what should be an open and entertaining game. Both Teams To Score is trading 1.65 and that looks a nice position to start the day.

BOLOGNA V JUVENTUS
7.45pm We move over to Serie A to finish Sunday with a massive game as Bologna host Juventus. You only have to have a quick look at the table to see how important this game is for both sides – Juventus are sitting in fourth spot and Bologna are just one point behind them in the race for a top four finish and Champions League football. There’s a chance that they could both catch Atalanta given they way they have been finishing the season, but given they meet each other here it’s hard to see that happening – the loser will obviously be massively on the backfoot. It’s not a surprise to see that we have an open betting heat here; Bologna come into the game as the favourites with home advantage at 2.56 with Juventus 3.4 and the draw is 3.1 at the time of writing. As I said, there’s only one point between them in the table and they have two exceptionally similar profiles too. They actually have the same attacking figure this season – they are joint fifth with an average xG created of 1.55. They’ve both been very solid at the back too – Bologna have the best defensive figure in Serie A with an average xG conceded of just 0.99.
Juventus are second place with a figure of 1.13, and they went a long time without losing in the first half of the season – they had too many draws to challenge for the title but they were very tough to beat. Based on everything you look at here, it’s hard to see past a very close game. It will be a tight and cagey game too you’d imagine given the situation – obviously Bologna are under a little bit more pressure given they are one point behind, and they have the harder run-in. They have to play AC Milan and Fiorentina, while Juventus only play Lazio. The market has Under 2.5 goals trading 1.65, but I have to say I expected that to be a little shorter given how good both sides have been at the back – however when the sides met earlier in the season was got an entertaining 2-2! I couldn’t put anyone off the Under 2.5 goals bet at the odds, however I really feel that the draw offers the most value here at 3.1 in what should be an exceptionally close game. Juventus would equally be delighted with a draw away from home given the remaining fixture list.
